The OEM-HG1900 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is a compact unit that combines Honeywell’s Micro Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) Gyros and RBA accelerometers to deliver a reliable and accurate tactical grade navigation solution.

NovAtel’s SPAN technology combines the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning technology with the Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) technology to provide accurate and stable 3D navigation solution. NovAtel’s MEMS Interface Card (MIC) connects the HG1900 to a SPAN receiver, such as an OEM615, SPAN-SE or SPAN-MPPC, to deliver a precise 3D solution for airborne or ground applications.

Moreover, the HG1900 can be paired with NovAtel’s AdVance RTK to further enhance the real-time results of the unit. For applications that require even higher level of accuracy, such as applications for military use, options like Inertial Explorer post-processing software are available.

The HG1900 is compact and lightweight, allowing it to be used in applications with space constraint.
