The OEM-HG1930 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is a compact unit that features a Honeywell’s Micro Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) Gyros and RBA accelerometers to deliver a reliable and accurate tactical grade navigation solution. It can be installed on unmanned vehicles to be used in commercial or military applications.

When paired with NovAtel’s SPAN technology, which combines the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning technology with the Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) technology, the HG1930 is capable of delivering accurate and stable 3D results. NovAtel’s MEMS Interface Card (MIC) can connect the HG1900 to a SPAN receiver, such as an OEM615, SPAN-SE or SPAN-MPPC, to form a compact GNSS/INS system that is well suited for applications with space constraint.

Moreover, the HG1930 can be paired with NovAtel’s AdVance RTK to further enhance the real-time results of the unit. For applications that require even higher level of accuracy, such as applications for military use, options like Inertial Explorer post-processing software are available.
